The official rules make for a terrible game, but with some simple changes, we've turned this into a very fun game for a family. The phases end too quickly because of too many stop cards and go fish rarely sees any payouts. Ultimately, the game is decided by the third phase because the kitty is so huge from a lack of earlier payouts. Here's what we did: 1) Remove two of the four stop cards. 2) Require only sets of TWO cards for the Go Fish phase. And that's it. Enjoy!

Boring game. I've never played the "adult" version, but after seeing how a gambling game can be pushed to our kids, I'm not even tempted to try the so-called adult version.

Ugh, the colorful box of this at Target sucked me in. The box says it is SNAP, GO FISH, and WAR all in one game. I thought (silly me) that they were all combined to make one neat game. So myself and three kids from 5-10 played it. I was disappointed to read you play each game, SNAP, GO FISH and then WAR to determine the winner. The stop cards can ruin the game, so if they come early, we play till the next stop card. Needless to say, the kids liked it. I might have to hide it on the shelf so they don't ask for it too much. They won't play games without me very often, so I would rather they not see this and ask for something fun and not something so mindless....besides,the game has somehow disappeared...strange...

LOVE the comment by jadzianess! Duh, that's why it is Tripoley FOR KIDS get it off the shelf and let the kids play!
