From the manual:

You can see Wild Will’s house on the board. Setting off from the pier, Will and Frank head for the island in search of the sea monster’s treasure. Spinning the pointer will show you how far you may sail during your turn. On the voyage, you collect things that Will and Frank need for their adventure. They need binoculars to see the island a club for fighting off the sea monster, and the treasure map. Once you have collected all the necessary items and land on the island, you may search for the treasure. Watch out for the sea monster, especially for his long tentacles. If he tries to grab you then you have to go all the way back to the starting point.

Didn't like this children's game and my son hadn't that fun either.

Woeste Willem - Jumbo Kids game

Pretty much a roll-and-move, but also includes some trading, and a little memory. My four-year-old likes it well enough. Does not strain the parents too much to play, and takes 15-20 minutes. Length could be adjustable by altering the number of objects to be explored on the island. Cute illustrations, nice wood bits, but the ships are only so-so.

Enjoyable for kids between ages of 4 and 8. Based on the novel by Ingrid & Dieter Schubert.
