Halfway decent kid's game. . .

The kids used to love it when they were in the under 7 catagory. Real kiddy stuff. Fantastic looking graphics and play pieces though.

I found the gameplay to be incredibly annoying, but my son often asks for it (he's a lion king nut). For me it's a 1, for him it's 6 -- since the game is for kids, I give it a 4, but adults beware.

Old kids game.

Got it for the kids. Found at Goodwill for $1.50. Decent play for age group. Has enough mechanical challenges to keep them entertained and laughing. Should be good for at least dozen more plays with them.

Takes longer to put together than play.

Not really even a game, just a collection of components. A frustrating game for adults and children.

Mildly interesting kids game. Setup took a while for what was a shortish game. Fun to play a couple of times, but can't see Eva wanting to play more than that.

Mi primer juego de mesa. Me lo regalaron cuando tenia 6 años y estaba obsesionado con el Rey León... Aquí empezó todo.

I played this a lot when I was younger. There are some interesting mini-games along the way, but the biggest thing that stands out in my memory is the time it took just to assemble the game. However, if I found it very cheap somewhere, I would consider purchasing it for novelty's sake.

I don't even remember how it is played! Only the nice artwork(like the movie)...

Some nice components and for my 3 and 5 year-old girls who are big Lion King fans, this is a big winner. The actual game has some possibly interesting elements, but doesn't really work that much as it is. I hacked together a simple variant that sort of works okay.

Loved it when i was a kid, it wasent just your avarage boardgame. It was littered with these small dexterety games, i wouldend probably like the game any more but its pure sentimental valeu.

We didn't play through a whole game. On 5/3/14 we walked through it. This is mostly a luck game of random card trades and three spinners. There are two catapult sections, but it is difficult to launch accurately. The artwork looks nice, but it is not an interesting game.

I've done my time with the Disney games and kids games. Now I am reaping the rewards of making them play *my* games (and they kick my butt!) Seriously, I know you want to shoot yourself every time you pick up one of these kids' games and play it with your girl child for the 24th time, but believe me, she remembers it fondly, especially when you let her win, and especially if you were concious for most of it.

Rate 1 if you are older than 8. Otherwise the game is a solid 7. It is a kids game. Actually it is not even a game, it is a series of minigames. They correspond with the movie. All the players play the minigames together so no one is left behind. The only difference is that at the end, the player who won the most minigames has higher chance of winning but still anyone who wins the last game wins the game. The minigames are simplistic. Two of them including launching something with a plastic catapult. I remember it was fun when the movie came out 1994 and I was 8. It might be that 8 year old will play any tie-in to a recent kids movie. I will see when my kids grow up.

Very difficult to put together for a kids game, takes twice as long to assemble as to play.

This game is a combo of roll & move with some SURPRISINGLY hard dexterity mini-games. Could make a drinking game out of it... if you drink whenever the rules make no sense.

My kids have good memories of playing this on the front stoop with their friends for a summer. While the Lion King was a new thing, it was fun.

Average kid's game with nice looks that literally re-enacts the plot points of the movie. Nothing spectacular in the mechanics or game flow, Disney fans might still get a kick out of it. I might have been too old when we got this, my memories of it are only of lukewarm flavor, I think I played it to humor my younger sister. An okay kid's game.

Love anything Lion King, and this is basically playing the movie. More of a toy than game.

Spin-and-move, with a bit of manual dexterity thrown in. Non interest except for the youngest of children.

When is a game not a game? When it's just a collection of unrelated activities that require very little in the way of game play. This item is a toy, not a game, pure and simple.
