Description

Flix is an abstract game where two players flick their marbles around a hexagonal board, divided into triangles, in an attempt to get four marbles in a triangular formation.

The flicking is performed using a "paddle" which fits into the triangular sections such that the flick may only be performed in three directions.

The hardest part of the game is putting the rotating three-piece board together...!!!

Fun kids type game. Good luck getting that damn board together.

Pleasantly surprised. Could even work as a "non-dexterity" abstract. Planning is highly adviced, and blocking tactics are certainly possible.

Dexterity game. Mainly for kids. Some fun, but gets boring rather fast.

abstract game that uses a dexterity element to move your pieces. i think skill knowing how to move and where to move is more important than luck. you really have to plan ahead.

Simple dexterity game

Kris told me that this was meant to be a lot more skillful thn it actually is; the materials used mean that the balls bounce around too much for the players to have a great deal of control.

Missing some marbles and thus unplayable until I find some replacements/another copy.

I play this with the marbles for Balanx, and it works much better. In fact, I think it should be possible to throw in the ZERTZ marbles and play with 3 as well. A fun dexterity-strategy game making excellent use of triangular space - a step up from Cubiko on the geometry aspect. The hardest board to assemble ever, anywhere. Dex game with a moving board on wheels which is cool. Very easy to play, more of a pain to set up and get the board together. Looks cooler than it actually is. Happy to play it again, but all in all I like other dex games a lot more.

Sure a different Kris Burm here! Cheery dexterity game, which I played very often with my kids. Still, you have to watch your opponent and need some planning ahead to succeed...
