Never played, probably never will. Have the rulebook along with the "Daikazu" comic book it came with.

It's always fun to have monsters bash it out with one another. Miniatures are cool (if you can find them); I use them for Monsters Ravage America as well. Game mechanics are strong, but the "hold" ability makes monsters too tough. I would suggest that you play without this ability.

Create your monster, then fight. A simple miniatures game that could have been way better than it is... it feels like it was slapped together in an hour... and it plays the same way. There are other better games out there... don't waste your time... this one is no fun.

Bought off Ebay in mint, unplayed condition - none of the pieces have been cut out or used and the map is nice and crisp. Added to my vintage game collection, but quickly realised I don't want to have to make up the pieces. The game does not come boxed, and all the pieces fit in a large envelope. You have to cut out everything so it is like a print and play game without the printing element. It is quite old, I believe it is on the rare side (at least in the UK), and the skirmish rules seem sound, but it isn't for me. Also comes with a reproduction of Daikazu comic issue 1 - I couldn't be less interested in that if I tried. Sold.

I really liked how the rules and scenarios were in pulp comic book fashion. The rules and concept were very, very strong but the maps and components were pretty substandard, even for their time. It gets a 7.5 for nostalgia, but a 5.5 by today's standard, so 6.5 it is.
