Description

A card game based on Nintendo's Mario Party video game franchise. The game, which is non-collectible, has an interesting feature in which game mechanics are added-in if at least one player has a Nintendo Game Boy Advance with the E-Reader peripheral by scanning certain cards from the deck. This results in several "mini-games" being added into the mix, with players competing for high-scores and such to decide whether a card can be played. The E-reader feature is not a required element to play the game.

Don't have the attachment for the gameboy, but this is still in the shrink.

Even without the e-reader this is a decent game.

If you have a console and any Mario Party game then definitely play that instead. The card game is very simple and the minigames are rather gimmicky. Of course, there are some highlights in the gameplay and minigames. If you're looking for something different with your card games and are willing to pay the price, then I definitely recommend it.

Every time I read the rules I think, "This game sounds like fun. Why haven't I played this in forever?" And then when I force my friends to play I think, "Wait, this is it? Why did I want to play this?"

Not a bad game, but having a game boy advance makes it a lot more enjoyable. Can't recommend finding this unless you have the electronics to go with it (all decisions without the system are made via coin flip). Simple game, good way to pass the time with something different (read: gimmick) on rare occassions.

Great fun, seems a bit pointless without an e-reader but superb with it!
