More groups, rules tweaks. All of these were incorporated into the final Deluxe version. My comments on Illuminati in general: "From years of gaming, Illuminati, in the totality of it's releases and variants, is the only game I have returned to. Can't get better subject matter or mechanics. It all but forces reflection on and conversation about modern western society. Should be far more popular than it is. The original 1987 deluxe edition could seriously stand a reprint (with the original art, which makes it far more accessible than the much more aggressive and less playful later Deluxe, Bavarian Fire Drill, Y2K, Mutually Assured Distraction and INWO.)

My plays cover a period of ~15 years starting from the mid-80s to ~2000.

EVEN MORE OF THE SAME.

Two copies owned. One is mint and unplayed.

Another crucial expansion for the original pocket box edition. Adds the Network as an illuminati, as well as more groups and such. I use a house rule that sets the Network victory condition at 20 transferable power.

Some new cards to laugh at and a new Illuminati, but in terms of game play it doesn't really change anything.

See Illuminati above - these expansions were all fine, if not very earth-shattering. Didn't tend to change the game too much, just added more options to the mix.

Good expansion for pocket edition. I have the Illuminati Deluxe edition and do not use the pocket edition anymore.

An unnecessary expansion for an unnecessary game. It adds another secret society along with several cards which don't change the game at all. Indeed, this expansion just adds a bunch of overpowered cards along with some crappy ones, so the almost nonexistent game balance breaks even more. I suppose that it will be fun for those who enjoy the original title but are tired of seeing the same cards time and time again. Oh, and if you haven't noticed: the comments I wrote on this expansion are just a copy/paste of what I wrote for the first one. Why? Because both give the exact same feel, which makes this one even worse: playing with an expansion can be somewhat tolerable, with two it's painful. When this came out everyone hoped to draw the Network as their conspiracy group. They have a sweet ability and are fun to play.
