This one missed the mark for me. The fantasy setting just wasn't interesting. The base system is still as enjoyable as the other games in this series, but I could just as soon live without the fantasy bits.

I'd have thought the simplistic CH system would lend itself to a fantasy setting, since you can suspend disbelief at some of the more silly things but ... it's just too silly.

Still unpunched and in darn near Mint condition. I'm still not sure if I should keep it, sell it, or trade it away.

The fantasy setting is pathetic and the maps dull.

Got this years ago. Loved all of the chits. Could never find anyone at the time to play with. Will have to dig it out of my cold storage and see how it has held up over the years.

Gave me some fun as a lad - 2p and a lot of solitaire as I recall! Lovely artwork for many individuals and I do like that all the units are named and therefore some characters start to acquire a reputation after a number of plays! Easy rules to learn and implement. Fond memories, and I could be tempted to dust it off I suppose!
